Guy C. Fraker, lifetime student of Abraham Lincoln, has practiced law in Bloomington, Illinois, a significant Lincoln site, since 1962. He has practiced in thirteen counties which constituted Lincoln's Eighth Circuit.
He is an experienced speaker having spoken on Lincoln in central Illinois on numerous occasions to service clubs, college classes, and historical societies. This includes presentations to the Conference on Illinois History (IHPA), Eureka College, Postville Courthouse, Lincoln, Illinois, and Illinois State University. He has led tours of portions of the Circuit for various organizations and has authored three series on Lincoln in McLean, Logan and Woodford Counties for the local newspaper, The Pantagraph.
