Pictures from Fox Prairie Elementary School's mini-museum -- held in the school library on Lincoln's birthday.  Featuring household items from the 1800s including a fancy washstand; pitcher/bowl and chamber pot; various items of clothing; a family Bible with births, deaths, and marriages as far back as 1815; a pocket watch; family photos; an early school "reader" and several letters.

Also displayed, replicas of the Gettysburg Address, the wanted poster of John Wilkes Booth, the Emancipation Proclamation, a replica of the doll from the house at Appomattox and a set of Lincoln Logs.

An electronic slide show portrayed statues and memorials from around that world.  The children and adults alike were fascinated to see all the places dedicated to Lincoln, including Cuba!
