ALBC National Town Hall Series - Miami Theme: "Lincoln, Miami and the American Dream" A Socratic dialogue, working from a “case study” reflecting on the lessons of Lincoln’s life and words for Greater Miami. The ALBC Town Hall Series is inspired by Abraham Lincoln’s beliefs in the undeniable civic and human rights of all people and his efforts to build an equal opportunity society. - Music: The 60-member Ambassador Chorale of Florida Memorial University and the 60-member orchestra at the New World School of the Arts. Music will be of the Lincoln era. The program will include an excerpt from Aaron Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait,” with Alonzo Mourning as the narrator.
- Memorabilia and ephemera from Abraham Lincoln’s years – part of the collection of Miami philanthropist Norman Braman.

Tickets FREE, but distributed through the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, beginning in early September. A reception follows from from 6:30-8 pm at the Freedom Tower and features music from Lincoln's era as well as drinks and light refreshments. More information on the Miami Town Hall.
