ALBC Wrap-Up Celebration For nearly ten years, the Lincoln Bicentennial Commission has commemorated the life and leadership of our 16th president. Symposiums, national town halls, academic conferences, congressional and public tributes, historical commemorations, four new pennies and four new stamps, a commemorative coin and countless national exhibits have reminded us of Lincoln's exceptional place in our country's history. On April 19, we will celebrate Lincoln once more, reflecting not only on his life and legacy beyond this Bicentennial year but also challenging the latest generation to apply Lincoln to our present and continue the struggle for "a more perfect union." Check back regularly for more information on this final Bicentennial Celebration. Contact: Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission
