Center for Columbia River History (CCRH), a regional consortium that includes Portland State University, Washington State University Vancouver and the Washington State Historical Society (WSHS), have partnered to celebrate Lincoln's Bicentennial.
Lincoln Remembered: A Pacific Northwest Birthday Bicentennial

CCRH, the City of Vancouver, the National Park Service, the Vancouver National Historic Reserve Trust, and with the Oregon Lincoln Bicentennial Commission will host a Lincoln Afternoon birthday party at the Reserve.
The program includes guest appearances by Mayor Royce Pollard and the Oregon Infantry Volunteer Color Guard. Doug Tracy will provide period music. An Abraham Lincoln living history press conference with Lincoln actor Steve Holgate will follow.
The afternoon also features a series of stations:
Station 1: Historian and Lincoln scholar Richard Etulain discusses Lincoln’s connections to the Pacific Northwest.
Station 2: Musician Doug Tracy plays period music and discusses campaign songs.
Station 3: Historian and Lincoln scholar Elliot Trommald talks about Lincoln and race.
Station 4: Lincoln actor Steve Holgate answers questions about Lincoln’s life.
Station 5: School of the Civil War Soldier hosted by the National Park Service.
