James McKee is an attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s General Commercial Litigation and Appellate Practices. Prior to joining Foley, Mr. McKee served as the Deputy Counselor to Governor Charlie Crist, advising the Governor on matters of law and policy. He also served as a Deputy Solicitor General in the Office of the Attorney General. Earlier in his career, Mr. McKee served as a judicial law clerk to Florida Supreme Court Justice Kenneth B. Bell.
Mr. McKee received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law. He earned his master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting, and his undergraduate degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. McKee is also a certified public accountant.
